Sharing mostly free resources for young families, Florence is proactive and enthusiastic in imparting her local knowledge.
Last week when I opened my email I got a wonderful birthday present… Mother on Edge had given the Liebster award to Cook Up A Story! Many thanks to Florence from Cerritos, California, for this honor. Vinny did a few cartwheels, and I spent a whole lot of time gnashing my teeth, trying to figure out just which ones of my favorite food blogs I’d like to pass the honors along to.
It seems the Liebster award is given by bloggers to other new bloggers, to show them that you enjoy their work and to encourage them to keep it up. It also helps promote up-and-coming blogs to new readers. It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3:
1. Post the award on your blog.
2. Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to their site.
3. Choose five blogs that you enjoy and give them the Liebster award. Link to their sites and leave each one a comment informing them of the award.
Today I’m passing the Liebster Award along to these sites, in no particular order. I love reading your blogs, which are all so worth promoting!

Emerging truth: Health and medicine – A bit of a rant, ET is a fascinating collection of posts relating to health and medicine. Not clear, though, just who the ranter is! No matter, I do like perusing the info…
I’ll end by drawing your attention to one other site I love to visit, which has garnered many followers and awards: A hundred days of real food. Challenged by Michael Pollan’s In defense of food, this family shows how you can cut processed foods from your grocery list. Do look this one over at your leisure – a great read and oh so helpful!
Happy blogging one and all… and to all a good night!
