Give Away – shhhh don’t tell

Vinny cart p17

Oh, go ahead. Tell everybody. Vinny is doing his very first give away!

What’s he giving away? A personally autographed copy of his book, worth $40.

Anybody can enter. You have THREE chances to win by leaving comments.

1st entry: ”Like” Vinny’s “Cook Up A Story” Facebook page. Leave your name and blog address or email there in the status line, as well, so he knows you’ve entered the contest this way. Or just wait until the winner is posted and your name should show up in your Facebook feed 🙂.

2nd entry: Leave a comment here, sharing which of Vinny’s posts you liked the best in 2013. And perhaps you would tell me why. Was it the recipe? The story? the photos?  If you don’t have a WordPress blog, leave an email so I can contact you if you win.

3rd entry: Click on the tags “Stories”, “Family”  or  “Children” in the right-hand menu of my blog and let me know which post your kids liked best and why (if they’ll tell you).

The contest will end at midnight EST on Monday, August 19TH.
The winner will be selected at random and announced on Vinny’s “Cook Up A Story” Facebook page as well as emailed directly (so make sure your address is entered correctly in your comments below!). The winner will have 3 days to respond before they are disqualified, and a new winner is chosen.

Next Tuesday, check back here for Part II of the Pomegranate saga.

Hi Vinny, I just saw your comment of concern for me on my old blog, thanks. I’m doing well today, have lost 25 pounds in 11 months, all vitals are in the normal range now, blood pressure, cholesterol, trigyls. I miss my old favorite foods almost more than life itself (including my chocolate cakes), almost. I hope you’re enjoying my new blog, livingonarestricteddiet.wordpress.com on which I’ve been trying to formulate new recipes for old favorites like macaroni and tomato sauce, burgers (now turkey or 96% lean beef) and others. My goal is to survive while still enjoying some food and not simply exist on nuts and twigs. . All the best, I look forward to your comments.

I love your diet soda-cause for concern post. Because I don’t think people understand how bad it really is. We are not soda drinkers in general but if we did diet would be out of the question!

Thanks for your comment! I do hope people get this important message. Soda is indeed the worst thing you can drink for your health, unless of course you overdo alcohol…
